James Wheatley has been creating gardens since his first weekend job at the age of 11, since then has worked on well over a thousand gardens, including numerous Gold medal winning gardens at Chelsea Flower Show, Hampton Court Palace Flower Show and Gardening Scotland.

 James is equally comfortable developing large scale park like gardens as he is designing small contemporary city courtyards. Fusing his University training, BSc (Hons) Landscape Management, with his rich depth of experience from around the world. Flowing freely from one style to another.

Perfectly balanced stylish planting is James' specialty. He believes great planting bridges the gap between the built environment and the natural world. His ability to match an exciting range of plants within the context of each setting has become a Landform trademark. James always aim for our planting to add a true magic to a space, connecting you to the outdoors regardless of the time of year.

His visual eye for aesthetic detail means he is always looking to push boundaries with his creativity, finding that perfect rock or delicately placing plant combinations for gardens that are true works of art.
